I relate this scripture to a wild horse that needs to be “broken” in order to become a valuable asset to its owner. The horse itself is not “broken”, but his rebellious spirit has come into. submission to the direction of his owner; and as a result
becomes a “worker” for his owner.
When our “rebellious spirit” is “broken” in submission to the will of God, we become obedient “children of God” and live in submission to His will and not our own.
If, on occasion, the horse “cannot be broken”, he is of no value to anyone.
