when does PRIDE come in to your soul and when do we take the spiritual thankful we are so blessed that GOD has been so good to us. i feel i can ask GOD to help me control my outward pride and give thanks for the blessings HE has bestowed on me and my loved ones.
I understand your question. Perhaps it is best for us to make a clear distinction between inordinate pride and boasting – which is different from gratitude and joy over what God has given to us. We boast only in the Lord and the cross. See 1 Cor. 1:31.
