Thank you so much for your thoughts today. We lost my Dad on April 30th of this year. It was very hard not to have him with us anymore, but he lived a long life of service to the Lord. With the knowledge of God’s faithfulness to us, we know that he is in a better place. The problem today is that people question if they are good enough and therefore question if God is faithful and just if they have lived a good and faithful Christian life.
But, we must have the confidence, as my Dad did in his final days, that God is true, faithful and just.
To help prove my point, I would go to:
John 6:37 – Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.
John 8:32 – Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
John 10: 27-30 – My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the fathers hand. I and the Father are one.
Romans 8:1 – There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ.
