• 1. The Fulfillment of Prophecy. Betrayed (Psa. 41:9; Mk. 14:10). Sold (Zech. 11:12; Matt. 26:15). The Psalm of the cross (Psa. 22).

• 2. The End of the Mosaic Law. (Col. 2:14; Heb. 8:6–13).

• 3. The Miracles of Calvary. Darkness over the land (Matt. 27:45). Veil of the Temple torn (Matt. 27:51). The graves were opened (Matt. 27:52).

• 4. The Greatest Sacrifice Ever Made. (John 1:1–3; Phil. 2:5–8; Rom. 5:7–9).

• 5. Salvation by the Blood of Christ. (Eph. 1:7; Rev. 1:5; Rom. 6:1–4).

• “Now when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!” (Matt. 27:54).
