As the end of the year approaches and I receive the invoice for Berk’s Blog, each year I try to objectively evaluate if I should continue. There is a cost associated with producing this blog; it seems to increase a little each year. So I have weigh the financial against the practical (not a simple equation.)
This year I’m asking for your feedback. Do you check every time there is a post? Do you find these helpful? Have you noticed my son’s contribution to the effort? How can I improve this individually provided platform?

Do you check every time there is a post? – I check every day and read each one.
Do you find these helpful? – Yes, very helpful. I repost most of them on my Facebook page. There is a ton of devotional material available to read these days, and there’s no way to read it all. Berk’s Blog is always on my “must-read” list.
Have you noticed my son’s contribution to the effort? Yes, I appreciate his posts. His are usually longer than yours. It’s a different style, but definitely of value. It’s thought-provoking.
How can I improve this individually provided platform? — This may be trivial, but I usually read ThePreachersWord and Berk’s Blog first thing in the morning, typically about 7:30 AM Central Time. ThePreachersWord is nearly always there for me to read. Berk’s Blog frequently shows up later, and I often catch up to it later in the day. I don’t know your writing and publishing schedule, and I’m not suggesting you change it, but if you write it the day before and can automate the post to run in the middle of the night, that would enhance my reading schedule.

Yes, I check every time there is a post. I use your scriptures sometimes to make notes in my bible which has been helpful in various bible classes. I have noticed your son contributions.
